This watch needs no introduction. Inspired by the Renault tanks that the French jeweler saw in battle on the Western Front during the first World War, the Tank has been the foundation of Cartier since 1917. This example is the Tank released as part of the Must de Cartier line that the French maison first introduced in 1977. The watch paid tribute to the original Tank Louis Cartier and was launched in more than a dozen different dial options like dark black, red and even a striped pattern, or three shades of gold. This example we have on offer is a Must Tank featuring blue Roman numerals with a white dial in excellent condition. This Must Tank is the LM (large size) which was marketed for men's.

Overall, this Tank is in great condition. The silver Vermeil case is in excellent condition with no noticeable scratches. All the hallmarks and serial numbers are very crisp on the case and caseback. The original white dial is in overall clean condition with the blue Roman numerals in excellent crisp shape. The original blued steel hands and blue spinel cabochon is also in great shape. The quartz movement was last serviced in January 2024 with a new battery being installed. This Cartier Must Tank comes with its original box, booklet case, Must de Cartier instruction manuals, and certificate of guarantee. The watch also comes with its original steel pin buckle. The dark blue strap is a generic strap NOT from Cartier.
